Wine Description
(From 2004 Vintage) Intense and complex nose. Spices, cinnamon, leather and tobacco leaf blend prepares the way before a balsamic background of ripe blueberries and plum. On the palate it has everything, the wine is long, subtle and strong at the same time, the identification of long maturing. Very fine acidity, ripe tannins and a very long finish.
Winemaker's Notes
This wine exhibits an aged appearance belying its vibrant perfume of cedar, pencil lead, mineral, leather, black cherry, and blackberry liqueur. On the palate the wine is silky and seems to dance across the palate.

Great wine in general, thick body, rich flavor, balanced dry vs sweet. Very smooth!
