Dark red. Pungent, old-school bouquet of redcurrant, dried cherry, cigar box and fresh rose. Smoky red fruit flavors deliver solid punch but turn a bit dry on the back. This light-bodied wine offers good complexity and sweetness, but my enthusiasm was limited by that twinge of dryness.
