This 100% Tempranillo is deep garnet in color with purple tones. Complex on the nose and expressive with notes of raspberries, clove and blueberries. On the palate this wine possesses round, voluptuous ripe fruit with fine tannins and a soft dryness. Well-defined flavor with an elegant finish. Well matched with lamb, grilled meats and hearty vegetarian fare.
The professional note was complementary but I thought it was a little thin and sharp. In the end it was ok. I'd probably pay around $8.00 or so for it again.
aged in American oak for 12 months making it lighter, fruitier style of wine On nose berries & cherries with an earthy herb flavor. some spicy complexity
