Medium ruby-red. Aromas of plum, violet, mocha and tobacco, with some sexy oaky high tones. Silky on entry, showing suave plum, berry, mocha and nutty oak flavors along with a strong sassafras note and hints of leather and cedar. Boasts good stuffing but could use a bit more mid-palate lift. Finishes with fairly plush, ripe tannins and good length.
