(1995 Vintage) Refosco is a black grape grown in the Friuli region of Italy, where it is prized for its dark, saturated color, ripe, plummy flavours, and firm, but supple tannins. Montevina's 1996 Refosco offers a lovely, deep and dark color, intriguing black fruit and herb aromas, and delicious berry and plum flavors -- it will beautifully complement herb-roasted chicken, beef dishes, duck, and lamb.
