Marcassin Chardonnay Three Sisters
Chardonnay Three Sisters reveals plenty of candle wax, white currants, peaches, citrus oil and honeysuckle as well as the wet stony minerality that can be found both in the aromatics and flavor profile.
International Wine CellarRating: 92(+?) - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 126, May/June 2006. Medium yellow. Slightly reduced aromas of pineapple, biscuit and crushed stone; this smells like Schlossberg riesling. Then fat and rich but a bit reduced and warm today, and very difficult to taste. In a rather brooding stage and rather uncompromisingly dry, with a light saline element on the back. But the wine's clean flavors and firm minerality leave me optimistic for its future development in bottle.
