Expert Reviews

6% Merlot; 1% Petit Verdot; 1% Cabernet Franc. Cabernet's tougher side shows in this rather brusque, dry-edged effort, and defined fruit is no more than a minor concern. The wine is fairly full and thick in feel, however, and its hard-to-ignore toughness does not disqualify it from service with hunks of slowly braised beef or lamb.
