Kooyong Chardonnay Mornington Peninsula
Expert Reviews
-
TanzerPale bright, yellow-tinged straw. Vibrant, perfumed aromas of lemon blossom, citrus fruits and oatmeal, with earthy and wet stone notes in the background. Supple and elegant, with concentrated if slightly oxidative chardonnay character. Some slightly funky suggestions of wild yeast are tightly woven into a long, minerally palate of exceptional complexity and harmony.

DecanterRating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Luminous gold. Restrained pear, appley oak minerality, stunningly focused bouquet. Rich, ripe, nutty, subdued fruit, lively acidity supporting low depth of fruit, minerality. Phenomenal. Drink 2006-09.
