(From 1997 Vintage) The 1997's light gold color is accompanied a gorgeous perfume of caramel, honeysuckle, peach, apricot, and smoky wood. Full-bodied and unctuously-textured, with good underlying acidity as well as loads of sweetness and glycerin, it looks to be a great vintage for this renowned Sauternes estate.
(From 1998 Vintage) Knockout aromas of creme brulee, coconut, vanilla bean, honey and orange peel. Lush and seductively silky in the mouth.

Wine Spectator(From 2003 Vintage) "Intense aromas of pineapple, honey, vanilla and apple pie. Full-bodied, with rich fruit that gives a cream, pineapple and honey character, yet the wine is compacted and reserved. Long and lively. This has more of a kick at the end compared with the 2001, but the 2001 has the edge still with its racy acidity. Who knows? Could be another 100-pointer; could even be better than the 2001. Score range: 95-100 - JS" The Wine Spectator Also scored 94-96 Points Robert Parker - no tasting note given
