Deep red. Rich aromas of black fruits, chocolate, mocha, Cuban tobacco and earth. Very suave texture but currently rather closed, and not revealing its sweetness or personality. Minerally and firm. Today the strong, dusty tannins are cutting off the obviously ripe fruit. This will go leathery as it matures.
