Deep ruby red in color. Ripe cabernet fruit comes through in the aromas. Round and delicious. An excellent example of the high quality coming out of this part of Tuscany. Recommended with grilled and roasted red meats. 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Franc
International Wine CellarDeep ruby with a violet core. Fresh and open on the nose, with dark berry fruit and earthy tones lifted by a whiff of violets. In spite of an unexpected touch of hardness owing to brisk acidity and noticeable wood tannins, the ripe redcurrant and bing cherry flavors are nicely focused and lead the way to a more pliant back end, where herbal tones and spices predominate. However, the wine seems slightly disjointed today.
