Wine Description

(1998 Vintage) One of the top Chilean Cabernets, aged for 12 months in French oak. Sourced from 100 year old vines. Intense ruby in color with red fruits evocations of blackcurrant, chocolate and cigar box, in balance with well integrated oak (French Alliers fine grained oak). Of great complexity in the mouth, in mid palate is full bodied and balanced with a lasting persistence and a remarkable finish. Although a superb wine as it is, it may also be considered as a great wine for cellaring.

(2014 Vintage) There's minerally freshness to the ripe dark plum, blackberry and cherry flavors, with peppery hints. Well-structured and crisp midpalate, featuring Asian spice and black fig notes on the finish.

(2006 Vintage) Bright purple. Sexy, oak-spiced raspberry and blackberry aromas offer the clarity, intensity and visceral appeal of a $50 Napa wine; subtle floral and herbal qualities build with air. Fleshy and sweet, with deep dark berry liqueur flavors, no obvious tannins and a long, sappy finish. For fans of lush, jammy, fruit-driven wines, this is an absolute no-brainer.
