This bottling marks the first of an estate grown Zinfandel named for the original 1880's vineyard bench land on which it was replanted. This vineyard is unique because of its developing age, flat ground and particular terroir. It has produced a ripe, port-like wine, redolent of raspberry jam in the aroma and flavor.
