Deep ruby-red. Pure, floral aromas of blueberry, blackberry, minerals and lead pencil, plus a whiff of exotic spices; this smells like a wine from small berries. Very tightly wrapped but precise and juicy in the mouth, with the dark berry flavors complemented by a note of violet. Extremely primary and pristine, and very long on the aftertaste. Very solidly built, owing to bracing acids and firm but fine tannins. This is an even bigger wine than it's showing now.
