Wine Description

(From 2010 Vintage) Our 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant representation of Napa Valley Cabernet from a cool vintage. It presents an opaque garnet hue in the glass and reveals aromas of sandalwood and roasted meats. Flavors of vanilla, coffee beans and raspberries are buttressed by dusty tannins, firm acidity and a mouth-coating texture. Given proper cellaring, this wine should provide drinking pleasure through 2029.

Winemaker's Notes

Dark Ruby to garnet color and a complex nose of blackbery jam, chocolate, roasted coffee, sandalwood and nutmeg. It has a full body and a rich elegant finish with nicely integrated tannins. It will continue to get smoother over the next months and will improve for 15-20 years.

Silver Oak wines are supple, explosively fruity, and deliver copious quantities of glycerin, extract, and richness wrap...
