Opulently, rich intense full bodied. Usually needs a full decade of cellaring. One of the great wines of Pomerol and Bordeaux. The quality equivalent of a first growth.

Decanter(1982 Vintage) Rating: 0/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Firm deep ruby; sweet ripe nose, a touch jammy, quite oaky, becomes more sumptuous with aeration; rich, firm, very concentrated, plenty of extract, fine acidity too, still tannic but very elegant; good length, superb potential.
