"Medium-full colour. Very Graves in style. Nice plump fruit. Good substance. Fullish, rich and earthy in a good sense. Good grip and very good tannins. Plenty of wine here. Very good indeed." (Clive Coates - The Vine - 01-Jan-1999)

    Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Reserved, minerally nose. Similar weight and density to 1996 but a little warmer and rounder. Powerful tannic structure here, but the tannins are a little rustic and dry on the finish. Drink 2005-2010.
