Grgich Hills Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
(2011 Vintage) Our Cabernet is rich with aromas of balsamic glazed figs, dried rose petals and a touch of green peppercorns. Smooth and rich on the palate with a persistent finish.
Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2000 Vintage) 8% Merlot; 2% Cabernet Franc. Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2003 Vintage) Oozing with sweet, black-cherryish fruit in the nose and on the front of the palate, this two-faced effort gives and then takes away as it heats up and dries out at the finish. Its uneven nature raises concerns about aging even though it has plenty of tannin to lose, and its future is at this point uncertain enough to cost it a chance for a star.
