1952 Château Batailley Grand Cru Classé Pauillac

Wine Description

(From 2010 Vintage) Solidly tannic wine, with flavors of polished wood. The structure offers a rich, generous feel, bringing out the sweet berry fruits. Very sumptuous.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2005 Vintage) Generous and ripely fruity on the nose. Dusty and slightly dry on the end. I could do with just a little more zesty fruit on the palate. But it’s solid.
