International Wine Cellar(2004 Vintage) Good ruby-red. Raspberry, black olive, smoke and game on the nose, with a hint of mint. Juicy, pure and sharply delineated; a classically structured if somewhat leaner vintage of Montrose with no shortage of material. Even if this is smaller-scaled than the 2005, it will still require a good decade of bottle aging.
