Wine Description

The Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2002 is the 69th vintage in the history of the house. The 2002 harvest yielded grapes of great maturity, suited to making a well rounded champagne. It was a special year in Champagne, with violent frosts which destroyed some of the grapes, but as a result the remaining grapes offered a rare aromatic concentration. Composed of a balanced collection of three major grape varieties of Champagne, this wine has a fruity and said further: · 31% Chardonnay, · 38% Pinot Black , · 31% Pinot Meunier. The Grand Vintage 2002 Moët & Chandon is silky and delicate with a pale golden colour. This unique vintage, offers a nose adorned with notes of white fruit (peach and pear), dried fruit and subtle aromas of brioche and malt. The mouth is a powerful, warm and full champagne. This exuberance is supported by the rigor of a citrus confit, which ends with a mineral aspect.
