(2011 Vintage) Seductive fresh pear, honeydew melon, floral and spice character, accented with light herbal nuances. The soft, silky flavors culminate in a beautifully balanced, dry finish.
This is a prime example of mega corporate mediocrity that has largely contributed to America's conservative approach to drinking wine. Drink some Mott's apple juice and save yourself the disfortune. To try a REAL riesling, the way Europeans have been creating this amazing wine for millennia, look for a Mosel or Rhiengau riesling trocken or kabinett and you will NEVER look back. You will be properly blown away. Kabinett (meaning harvested earliest before too much sugar occurs due to ripening) is the dryist style riesling in Germany.
Clean, crisp, and overly sweet.
