Generous and expansive in its dark and black fruit that is well structured and full-bodied. This wine embodies the essence of the rocky hillside terrain from where this wine is produced. Drink now or cellar.
Dark purple, with streaks of dark garnet when held to the light. Aromas of dark berries and dried current along with cedar, sage and tobacco, with hints of loamy earth, minerals, and graphite. Rich and smooth, with finely textured and rounded tannins. Balanced acidity. Full-bodied.
Flavors of dark fruit including black current, blackberry, and black cherry along with other dried dark fruit, layered over notes of mocha and cedar with subtle earthy hints of licorice. Long and lingering finish, with softly fading black fruit that disappear and leaves finely textured sweet tannins and minerality behind.

90 Points, Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate:
"An impressive 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from the southern sector of Napa Valley (in particular, the Atlas Peak area), this dense ruby/purple wine has sweet tannin and a very floral nose intermixed with cassis and plum. Round, generous, seductive and opulent, this wine is a classic 2007 – delicious, forward, and ideal for drinking over the next 10-15 years." (Dec. 2010)
