(2010 Vintage) The 2010 vintage comes fully-loaded with ripe red and black fruits and layers of sweet oak and spicebox, with just enough tannins to appeal to a broad range of folks, from jammy zin lovers to those who prefer more structured wines. It's big, flavorful, and satisfying.
Blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, petit Syrah and Syrah and charbano. A bit heavy handed this year. Aroma reminds me of barbecue! Syrupy and spicy flavors of currants and plums with a balanced finish. Gets a 91 on wine spectator
Pair - Red wine blend Smell - smoky cherry Color - purple, full-bodied Taste - first creamy and then dry, smoky blackberry.
Zinfindel in the blend, but balanced with Cabernet. A little peppery for my taste, but delicious. Gig favor is very good.
Sweet, followed by a mixture of bold, spice, and strong fragrance... complex.
it was a little jammy. It would be good in winter with a hardy stew or roast
