Wine Description

Vinification is obtained through maceration of the must (with the skins) for 8-10 days with short and frequent "pumping over” to extract color. On completion of the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation the wine undergoes maturation in oak barrels for at least 6 months.

Winemaker's Notes

After careful selection, the grapes from Rocca delle Macie estates are vinified in the traditional method of Chianti Classico. Once the fermentation is complete, the wine is matured in oak barrels for at least 2 years then bottled. It remains in the bottle for about 6 months to mature before being released.
