Wine Description

(2009 Vintage) Presumably a blend of old vine Garnacha, the 2009 Las Rocas Viñas Viejas over delivers and possess a perfumed, spice-driven bouquet of sweet cherry fruit, dusty earth, cedar, and dried herbs that flows to a medium to full-bodied, silky, and elegant palate. Balanced, clean, and with integrated acidity.

This has become one of my standard go to bottles these days. Good fruit and tannins like what you'd expect with a garnacha. Left a bottle open over night and it was better the next day. Fruit and structure became beautifully integrated. Have to remember to do that in the future!

Very good. Medium-full bodied with food or on its own.
