"Intense aromas of dried citrus and meat with hints of rose bush and fresh rosemary. This is full body, with full, velvety tannin and a decadent and rich finish. Fascinating flavors of spice, citrus and meat. Loads of fruit. From biodynamically grown grapes. Better in 2016...97". James Suckling
Tanzer(1997 Vintage) "Very dark garnet with ruby highlights. Powerful herbal and tobacco-scented nose. Exudes great richness on the palate, with bright cherry, strawberry and licorice flavors that are displayed with a wonderful sense of freshness. The tannins are lush and the dark berry finishing flavors are intense and persistent. "
