Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2002 Vintage) Clean and somewhat simple yet quite attractive for a young wine of its wholly inviting price, this bottling smells of appley aromas with wisps of creamy oak and pie crust toastiness. Bright and slightly round in style with easy-to-like, direct fruit, this wine can often be found at deep discount and turns into a real bargain. GOOD VALUE
Wine & Spirits(2004 Vintage) Intense and concentrated, with a vibrant medley of dark fruits built around currant, blackberry and wild berry fruit that offers a unique flavor profile. Excellent acidity and firm, vibrant tannins on the finish. Still, the flavors are persistent. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2012.
