last bottle -- twenty -- 2013 vintage — D1 — 020 -- Park Royal Aug2017, $64.00 -- Bordeaux blend, 43% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 7% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Franc -- 14.9 % alcohol!!! -- 90 points, Gismondi said in Dec2017, "A Napa County wine that mixes 43/34/11/7/5 merlot, cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, malbec and cabernet franc. The nose is ripe with black cherries, cedar, vanilla and a generous pinch of baking spice. The attack is a touch hard at this point with ripe cassis, black pepper and smoky French oak. At 14.5 percent alcohol, it strives to keep it all together as it works through some smoke and dense tannins in the finish. Drink now with grilled meats or hold five years and let it all come together. Excellent value. Fine vintage" --

(2007 Vintage) Vibrant aromas of blackberry, black cherry, dried fruit, and baking spices jump from the glass. In the mouth the wine is rich in dark fruit flavors, with hints of mocha and roasted coffee beans. Full, fairly big tannins are well integrated in the body and fruit character.
