(From 2013 Vintage) Zinfandel is uniquely American and is capable of producing top tier wines that rival Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Zinfandel should not be confused with white Zinfandel, a pink, semi-sweet wine, made by removing the juice from the skins during fermentation and typically adding sugar.
(From 2010 Vintage) The 2010 Blackstone Winemaker’s Select Zinfandel has great color and a mixed berry, red pie cherry, and toasted vanilla nose. Its middle palate is lushly round with smooth tannins, while the finish has wild-berry notes. This delicious Zinfandel would pair beautifully with spicy barbecued short ribs, pork tenderloin, or your favorite soul food.
