(2013 Vintage) Petit Castel is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Perceived as the Grand Vin’s younger brother, it is really the product of a different winemaking philosophy. More fruit and more tamed and elegant tannins, it is a hearty wine. Aged 16 months in French Oak Barrels, it has a full body and deep purple color, followed by rich black fruit, cherry and plum and a long finish.
