(2014 Vintage) The 2014 Beaujolais Villages, which was aged in oak foudres for 5 months, has an attractive, earthy red berry nose with cranberry leaf developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a subtle herbaceous opening, grainy tannin, and a prickle of white pepper enlivening the finish. A fine ”BV” to drink over the next couple of years.
