(2011 Vintage) Deep ruby. Heady scents of raspberry, cherry-cola, floral oil, Asian spices and vanilla. Juicy and penetrating, with superb inner-mouth perfume to its sweet red fruit and candied rose flavors. Becomes spicier with air and finishes with excellent clarity, breadth and persistence.

Aromas of raspberry, strawberry and cinnamon. Supple, spicy and aromatic in the mouth, with enticing sweetness but slightly drying oak tannins. Could use a bit more vibrancy.

Jammy raspberry and cola aromas complicated by mocha, red licorice and an exotic hint of peach pit. Sweet and velvety in the mouth, with creamy raspberry and plum preserve flavors and good heft. The weighty, round finish features a clingy red fruit preserve quality. I'd opt for drinking this on the young side.
