(2008 Vintage) The 2008 Dona Paula ‘Alluvia’ Cabernet Franc is a high elevation cool climate offering with captivating varietal expression without any greenness or leafy notes, that showcases black currant and darker red fruits complemented with a nice combo of a floral and a light spice box accents to the nose. Medium fuller bodied, this shows good fruit concentration in the palate without being heavy, with a core of red currant and cassis fruit, subtly spiced, backed with finer, powdery tannins.
