Wine Description

A brilliant, rich garnet color, it opens with lifted fruit aromas of ripe strawberry, plum and sweet Bing cherry, along with light cedar and spicy vanilla notes. Bold and expressive boysenberry, plum, cherry cola and toasty mocha flavors lend complexity and depth on the palate. The vibrant acidity is well balanced by sweet oak and subtle herbal notes, with structure and depth seldom seen in Pinot Noir.

#20 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2015

Meiomi (May-oh-mee) is a Pinot Noir that gets its fruit from the most noteworthy coastal areas in California. The wine is crafted, lush, balanced and luxurious. Three of the California's most sought after coastal growing regions brilliantly meld together in this deeply flavored, stylish and truly balanced Pinot Noir; at its most fundamental core, it is an approachable, food friendly wine with a style and place all its own.

Great wine, very easy to enjoy this very fruit forward smooth balanced wine. Starts off smooth with the bursts of fruits and berries, and finishes well. A reasonably priced favorite.

Sent is delicate for a pinot noir. Initial taste is very smooth and as delicate as it smells. Loved the sweet after taste.

This is the bomb! Full flavor throughout the palate. Almost jammy like a good Zin. Got it for $20- a true bargain.

Very easy drinking Pinot. Earthy but not overpowering for those who don't prefer that. Medium bodied.

A bit young. Needs a little time to mature, but still a nice mid level pinot
