It’s the wine of the ”hundred towers”. Distinguished by an ancient fame, being known already in the 13th century, it is born on the hilly vineyards of the town of San Gimignano and made from the Vernaccia-vines. A clear golden color, moon-like and joyful, shimmering. Delicate bouquet of great elegance, penetrating, unmistakable due to its hints of almond-flower. Dry taste without sourness, rich, persistent, harmonic, with a characteristic bitterness in the aftertaste. Alcoholic graduation 12°. Accompanies grilled fish and is especially appreciated with seafood and fish-stews. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°.
