Rombauer Vineyards Chardonnay

Wine Details

Wine Description

Just the white wine for a Guinness lover! A soft yellow color that will darken with age. Bright, vibrant tropical fruit aromas flow from the glass. Underlying grapefruit and lime add depth and character to the aroma. Seamless, textured layers of cantaloupe, pineapple and vanilla flood the palate. A mouthwatering finish entices another sip. This wine will develop flavors of fig and apricot, giving richness, as it ages in the bottle.

(2014 Vintage) Creamy and luscious with trademark notes of pina colada, ripe banana, maple, nutmeg, french toast, and men's cologne.
  • Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines
(2006 Vintage) This creamy, oak-sweetened wine displays plenty of appley fruit by way of attractive varietal character and sports a racy touch of balancing acidity that keeps it light on its feet and refreshingly vital. It will succeed equally well as a partner to richer chicken dishes as it does to broiled or grilled fish, and it is perfectly suited to near-term enjoyment.
  • Wine Buyer
(2009 Vintage) Rombauer Vineyards' 2006 Carneros Chardonnay is rich and full-bodied with peach, apple, and mango aromas and flavors. The creamy texture of asian pears and peaches glides across the palate and the light oak tones highlight the wine's complex and lingering finish.
