Wine Description

(2012 Vintage) The 2012 Sonoma County Merlot is lush with predominate notes of black plum, black cherry and blueberry with a hint of dried sage. This wine is silky and voluptuous with soft tannins. The luscious dark fruit flavors are enhanced by aging in small French and American oak barrels for a nice baking spice, vanilla and creamy finish.

Enjoy this Merlot over the next two to four years with Charcuterie, grilled chicken and vegetables, especially mushrooms, as well as braised short ribs.

(2009 Vintage) You get plenty of ripe berry, cherry and currant fruit in this expressive young Cabernet. Smoky oak adds sweetness, making for a delicious wine to drink now and over the next several years.

(1999 Vintage) Attractive red cherry notes are joined in the nose by brushy and herbal notes, and that blend of youthful fruit and green-edged seasonings persists in the mouth as well. Smooth and viscous on the palate but somewhat less concentrated than it could be, it gives way a bit in the finish yet never gives up its essential fruit and its easy Merlot charm.
