Soft and silky, with intriguing rose petal and crushed pomegranate aromas, this medium bodied wine was aged for 10 months in small French oak barrels, which added a hint of toasty vanilla and spice complexity.
Tulip flowers in the nose. Bold oaks at first and a citrus note finish. Doug's notes: Mmmawyahummmm-hmmmm *said with pinky extended and nose snobbishly in the air.
Cool combination of the raspberry/ pomegranate with the oaking, but the oak and vanilla combination lingers too long at end.
