Wine Description

(2012 Vintage) Deep ruby red color with layers of caramel, cinnamon, and hints of mint, this Montes Classic Series Cabernet Sauvignon has a prevalence of fruit over oak. Fruity sophistication expressing the terroir of the Colchagua valley, this wine has solid and friendly, ripe tannins. An outstanding wine for bottle aging, this Cabernet Sauvignon has oak that is not predominant, but well balanced in order to retain the fruit character of the bottle.

(2014 Vintage) There's minerally freshness to the ripe dark plum, blackberry and cherry flavors, with peppery hints. Well-structured and crisp midpalate, featuring Asian spice and black fig notes on the finish.

(2006 Vintage) Bright purple. Sexy, oak-spiced raspberry and blackberry aromas offer the clarity, intensity and visceral appeal of a $50 Napa wine; subtle floral and herbal qualities build with air. Fleshy and sweet, with deep dark berry liqueur flavors, no obvious tannins and a long, sappy finish. For fans of lush, jammy, fruit-driven wines, this is an absolute no-brainer.
