Colour: Pale lemon/straw in colour.
Nose: This wine shows lovely lifted tropical fruits of fresh melon and pineapple characters on the nose with an underlying subtle oak complexity.
Palate: Bin 65 Chardonnay is full flavoured with creamy tropical fruit characters of pineapple, melon and white peach with a long soft oak finish. This wine has well balanced, fresh acidity with a nutty oak character reflecting the gentle oak treatment and creamy texture from the partial malo lactic fermentation. A medium bodied wine with a long full flavoured soft finish.
International Wine Cellar(2007 Vintage) Green-gold. Smoky orange, melon and peach aromas are accompanied by deeper hints of honey and spun sugar. Broad and fleshy, with deep orchard and citrus flavors and a late note of floral honey. This is impressively round and rich for the price, and shows good finishing fruit and persistence. I've had plenty of $50 chardonnays that are less satisfying than this wine.
