Serious scents of cedar, graphite, wet slate, red berries on briar. It’s savoury and dense in perfume. Slick, cool and even across the palate – a dart shaped rush of juicy but contained sweet fruit, coated in dusty earthiness, meshed cedary oak, sent long through the mouth and finishing with a pucker of succulent acidity. It’s a lovely feel and beautiful to drink, with savouriness to the fore. Great expression of ‘Great Southern’.
