Jean Marc Pillot Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru

Wine Details

Wine Description

(2013 Vintage) Soft reduction flattens the fruit and renders the nose difficult to assess. There is a suave mouth feel to the very round and seductively textured flavors that possess fine persistent on the refreshing finale. This too should be approachable young.

  • International Wine Cellar
(2006 Vintage) Captivating nose of hawthorn, cilantro and minerals conveys an impression of energy. Simultaneously chewy and penetrating, with an exhilarating sugar/acid balance and superb grip to the clean, mineral-driven flavors. This extremely young wine demonstrates outstanding length. Next to this, the Cailleret seems buttery and quite supple.
