(From 2010 Vintage) Soft, creamy, juicy, rich, and powerful all at the same time. A dark and brooding wine, hints of imminent danger, ripe with confidence and purpose; on a mission.
You will know in no uncertain terms that you are drinking a massive red from an ANCIENT LAND - lazio - largely Cabernet-based, a touch of Petite Verdot and Primitivo. A soft, rich, creamy “Fruit Bomb” by any definition of the word… Made by Jayson Woodbridge of Hundred Acre with grapes sourced from top vineyards in Lazio, Italy. This has big, bold aromas of dark berry and cherry that have a compelling allure leading to a velvety and unfolding core of dark fruit, toasty sweet oak and a dash of acidity. It is a stunning and seductive wine. It has a rich California quality but a distinctive Italian flair and finish. Enjoy now and over the next five years.
Dry but no burn or bitterness. Easy & drinkable!
Pam drank as sample at Reserve in Grand Rapids...really liked and was her 2nd choice
