(From 2010 Vintage) A great archetype of Muscadet. I love being with wine trade people or even wine snobs and pulling out a Muscadet, one of the great terroir wines of France, and they try Pepiere’s Clos de Briords and they understand what you are talking about.
This hand-crafted Muscadet has extended lees contact (in fact a rarity), giving his carefully-prepared wine the extra flavor, body, and crispness that makes it so refreshing. In addition, 40+ year-old vines, hand-harvesting, and natural yeast fermentation all add up to a major league, "soulful" Muscadet!
Love. This is hands down one of the best values you are going to find out there. Amazing length and minerality. Very well-made muscadet.
Light, crisp, not too sweet and a faint lagging taste. Quite refreshing
Very nice, crisp. Not at all sweet
Fruity and pleasant finish
