Casillero del Diablo Reserva Carmenere is a deep, dark purple wine with aromas of dark plum, chocolate and hints of coffee and toasty oak. On the palate, there are notes of dark plums and spice, generously framed by toasty American oak with a soft and well-structured mouth-filling texture.
(From 2010 Vintage) A deep carmine color, this well-bal- color, this well-bal- anced red offers plum, chocolate and spice in the and spice in the nose with sweet, nose with sweet, round but firm tannins in the finish.
Bold n spicy; pairs great with bbq and pasta!
Good anytime wine. Goes great with red meat. I made rosemary burgers. Perfect! Weekday wine for sure and at the price I paid. Worth it $6 a bottle on sale.
