From Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes. Fermentation with the skins by temperature control in stainless steel tanks. Aging in oak barrels for 6 months. Another 3 months refining in bottle.
Aromas of cherries, baking spices and forest floor. Medium bodied, earthy, red fruit on palate. Enjoyable, easy drinking.
Rhubarb, unripe strawberry. lightly tannic with a long finish. Will probably improve with aging.
One of my favorites so far. It's dry but not the kind that you need a glass of water after.
