Wine Description
(2008 Vintage) The 2008 vintage is dark, ruby red in color and expresses continuous, complex nose. Aromas of spice ,mint, toasted oak, quinine are expressed first, followed by ink, jam, dried plums and cherries. With an imposing structure the wine on the palate has excellent balances melded with suppleness, elegance and length.

International Wine Cellar(2002 Vintage) Deep, almost opaque ruby-red. Refined aromas of blueberry and blackberry jam, with hints of dark tobacco, coffee and spicy, balsamic oak. Offers good grip on entry, then real power in a velvety package. Coats the palate with lush, sweet fruit flavors. Finishes clean, complex and long, with sweet but assertive tannins and remarkable freshness. Probably the best aglianico made outside of Basilicata and Campania.
