(2011 Vintage) The dark fruit aroma of this Pinot Noir brings to mind scones with mixed berry jam, and the secondary aromas of cherry cola, violet, and green tea add further complexity to the fruit profile. In contrast, the fruit flavors lean more towards cranberry and bright raspberry, complemented by a touch of bay leaf, tobacco, and toasted marshmallow from twelve months of French and American oak aging. Moderate acidity carries through the entire palate, forming a nice structure with the moderate tannins. Medium-bodied with a lingering red fruit finish, this California Pinot Noir delivers with appealing elements from several notable wine- making regions.
Easy to drink anytime, with dinner, friends, whenever!
