(From 2009 Vintage) Displaying a black garnet hue, this sophisticated cabernet sauvignon opens up to lavender, cassis, cocoa powder, pencil shaving and damp earth. The fruit is pure and elegant, showing boysenberry and blackberry with layers of graphite, leading to a focused and polished wine.
Not bad for a white. Purchased in a $20 wine pull raffle. Used in recipe and then drank the rest. Held up well in fridge. Screw top. Tasted good.
Smooth, fruit forward despite strong alcohol nose
